I obtained my law degree from John Moores University in Liverpool and subsequently attended The College of Law in Chester to undertake the Legal Practice Course.
I subsequently served my two years articles with a Manchester city centre firm.

I qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and joined Colin Rayner & Co as an associate in 1993. I initially gained experience in various areas of litigation prior to specialising in family law.
Since qualifying as a solicitor I have continued with my self-development. I progressed to a partner of the firm in 1999 and also became a member of the Law Society’s Specialist Family Law Panel in May 2000. I am also a member of Resolution, an association for specialist family solicitors who are committed to adopting an amicable approach in all family matters whilst at the same time ensuring the best result for their clients.

I have experience in all aspects of matrimonial work to include divorce, judicial separation, cohabitees disputes, public and private Children Act matters, adoptions and injunctions. I undertake both legal aid and private cases.

With my professional qualifications, work and life experiences, as an individual I am approachable, understanding and non-judgemental. I am able to empathise with my clients needs whilst remaining professional at all times. .
